Fun, Skills and Thrills at The Mancunians Magic 5's Children aged nine to eleven years old will join in the fun over the Magic Weekend when they take part in the Mancunians Magic 5's. The Mancunians Magic 5's is a Rugby League festival for children aged 9-11 which will be held at East Manchester Academy, just metres away from the Etihad Stadium on the afternoon of Saturday May 17th. The Magic 5's will be played under the Primary Rugby League format, which is a small sided format of rugby league which enables the children taking part to have loads of fun and learn new skills at the same time. You can read more about Primary Rugby League at http://www.primaryrugbyleague.co.uk The festival is called the Mancunians Magic 5's for the following reasons: - It's organised by Mancunians - It's held on Magic Weekend - There are 5 Players Per Team - Games will be 5 Minutes Each Way Mancunians are a community club based in Manchester and they are running the tournament for the first time and it promises to be a great day out. This is a fantastic opportunity for young children to experience the Magic Weekend and to play a few games of rugby at the same time. Mancunians and the RFL are offering fantastic packages costing £70 for clubs and schools coming to the Magic 5's which includes: - 10 child places (2 teams) at the Magic 5's - 2 Adult places at the Magic 5's - 10 child tickets for the Saturday of the Magic Weekend - 2 Adult tickets for the Saturday of the Magic Weekend - A Money can't buy parade around the Etihad Stadium pitch before Wigan v Leeds finale on the Saturday of Magic Weekend. There is also an opportunity for parents and teachers to buy additional tickets at a 50% discount. It promises to be a fabulous day out and a day to be treasured for the children who take part.
