1) Can any of the bottom clubs get relegated from the original 24? Yes. There will be promotion and relegation between Championship and Championship 1.
2) Does all the TV money get split evenly between all 24 clubs? It is distributed amongst the 24 on a sliding scale between club 1 (circa £1.65million) and club 24 (£150k).
3) Will all the 24 teams have potential to be fulltime? If they wish.
4) Will the salary cap still be in place? Yes, likely to be £1.825mil for Super League and £1million for the Championships.

That clears that up!

Thank you for your previous response. I have a few more questions which I hope you don't mind answering:

- There will be 12 teams in Super League, 12 teams in the Championship. However, how many teams will be in Championship One? Most likely to be 14 – awaiting final confirmation of the 14th team but this is close to conclusion.

- How do Championship One teams get promoted to the Championship? Do they not have to play in the 3 leagues of 8 to get promoted? 2 teams will get promoted into the Championship. Clubs will debate on Friday whether this is League Leader and GF winner as in previous Champ 1 competitions, or an alternative method but they will not play in the 3 league of 8.

- Do you have to have certain qualifications to enter the Super League like ground capacity etc.? Yes, there will be minimum requirements to be released in August. However all SL grounds at present meet the draft requirements as do many Championship grounds.

- Do you need an academy to enter the Super League? No.

- Is it an ambition of the RFL to have 3 leagues of 12 professional teams? No – there is no desire to reduce the number of Championship 1 teams. We believe the number of teams in that competition should be based on the ability of the sport and the clubs to support themselves, rather than setting a limit on numbers.
