can we stick o discussing Murphy the player. Lets leave all the other stuff for the VT or sin bin.

Played very well today.

IMHO the wingers should be Murphy first with the other wing between Gerry and Broughton. Depends whether he wants pace or strength. BUt Murphy should be nailed on for one wing.

Agree, Murphy has, like last season, waited for his chance and took it and for me on his performances simply cannot be dropped from the team unless he's injured or banned !!

First choice winger for me. His consistency deserves reward. I wouldn't complain if he got a contract extension. Put your heart into games like he does and he deserves nothing less. Would send a great message out to the rest of our squad too.

Happens to the best of players. Players often get carried away and go for it themselves. One of our better players in Wardle this season has been guilty of it this year and I've lost count of how many times Cudjoe has failed to pass in a try scoring opportunity over the years. It's a decision that the ball carrier can easily get away with at times.

I would like to see the two early breaks again. My view at the time was the first one from Eorl he had a man to his left (either Murphy or Wardle not sure) and been a typical prop forward got his head down and never even looked up to spot the pass.
With the Murphy break he did look up and he had Lunt to his right but at the point when the pass should have been made Lunt had veered left and had run right behind Murphy making the pass just about impossible.
Either way it was 12 point blown in the first five minutes.

Not sure. If he is I'd of thought he'd get an extension soon...
