I didn't cheer for anyone in the Olympics except Jessica Ennis cos she's fit.

I'm English. I was born in England and I live in England. The only time I have EVER cheered for Great Britain is in rugby. I went to the Team GB football match at Old Trafford, but didn't care who won. I went to say I had seen an Olympic event.

Britain is on its arris. Half the Countries would rather not be in it and the majority detest one of their fellow British nations. Do you think the whole of Scotland got behind Tim Henman? Did they throw parties all over Wales to watch him in the few finals he made? Do you think they cheer for England or English competitors?

Most Scots will tell you they're Scottish and most Welsh will tell you they're Welsh. The fact that not one of them sung GSTQ in the football (including the Captain) proves said point.

No it proves all footballers are idiots nothing else.
I saw numerous none English carrying the GB flag with great pride, perhaps you would have too if you had bothered to look.
But hey if you want to keep your blinkered view go for it.
I on the other hand will see what my eyes show me and that is that none English can and are proud to be part of Britain when taking part as part of the British Olympic/Paralympic teams.

Some are yes. Some aren't. Each to their own. Mine is that I am English and not British.


This isn't an "I hate the Welsh or Scottish" thing either as my Grandad was Scottish.
