Disagree on both points there Charlie. I agree Bob won us the Fax game but I would still start with Penky. I think the game will start at lightning speed with both sides wanting to make a strong start. That quick PTB will be best taken advantage of by Penky who thrives on quick play. Bring Bob on later with his crisp distribution and clever kicking game as the game settles down slightly.
Also, Fev have destroyed us out wide for years with pace in the centres. This year we finally have 2 quick, skillful centres in Armstrong and Pitman who can defend well but also cause Fev problems in attack with speed and good footwork. Littler for me is now cover unless Pitman or Armstong lose their form.
I'd pick the same team as LeytherJay but start Penky instead of Beswick.
Think we have the team to beat Fev this year but only if we play at our very best, even then I would expect a close match. Really tough match to call, gutted I can't be there but I will be listening in on LeighLife Radio.
