If I was a betting man then I certainly would go to the bookies.

As it is betting has never held great appeal for me, too much like leaving my chances to people outside of my control.

But he may feel free to gloat all day long if Wigan lose by less than 16 points.

He would get better odds at the bookies but it's a bold statement to say Sts are 16 points better and
He should be brave enough to back himself

More of a shame that you lot were so battered in the second half that you abandoned the midfield to Wigan. That was where you lost it. The result was nothing to do with contentious decisions, unlike your last two wins.

I'm not complaining about the result as Wigan deserved their victory today, I just have a dislike of how every team are now using dummy runners instead of the skill of a player to breach a defence.
