Did you know murphy has only ever appeared in front of the disciplinary once in his entire SL career? That was three years ago. Hardly an act of a disgraceful player- Johnson may well have served some time but he's a nasty piece of work with a string of convictions- and that's just the stuff that's got to court!!! I'd happily pay any fine murphy gets.
The rumours must be true and I have gone blind... I didn't see Aaron Murphy do anything wrong or use his elbow. If he had done so I would expect the club to have made an official complaint before now.
I find it distasteful that a minority of Huddersfield supporters should regurgitate an incident which occurred when an individual was drunk, and they seem dissatisfied with the legal system and an opportunity for rehabilitation.
I don't think typing words on a forum will change things.( Try your Labour MP - That'll work ! )
I wonder if they also think bankrupts owning shops a few years after being declared bankrupt should be something they should show faux concern about.
Or other individuals demonstrating rugby league skills who have had criminal records...
Perhaps the question should be,why Huddersfield stand by some players and not others? Or do they just jettison those after charge incident involving a female

Don't normally get involved in this stuff. However the last post has forced me to reply. If you cannot tell the difference between the Johnson case and the incident you have posted about where the police found there was no case to answer then shame on you.

Do people deserve a second chance?
Yes - it's the third, fourth, fifth etc I have a problem with.

That's it in a nutshell. Our judicial system allows offenders another crack at a chance to become a member of society. No Salford fan condones what Johnson did but the lad is trying to move on with his life and didn't deserve a broken jaw. When is enough enough, five years on maybe ten? Come on lads we all know he was wrong but let's draw a line FFS

The players were told not to bring anybody back to the team hotel and one player brought a girl back to his room, nothing happened except the girl saw an opportunity to try and make some money. The player in question was then released by Huddersfield. So bringing a girl back to a hotel room is not really anything like what Johnson did is it?
