Burgess could possibly become the best winger in English RL over the next few years.
If he can keep his pace and agility as he physically matures, he could be anything because he is not just an athlete but actually a really smart player.

On a future England team thread on the Vt i said that Joe burgess will be picked in front of Charnley and Briscoe but got accused of being biased. He has the ability to become a isreal Falou talent, just got to work his socks off.

A brilliant first 10 games. What I've been most impressed with is when our line is broken down our right (opposite side to Joe) he instantly races across that to that side to help Bowen out and save a try.

The three things I want in a winger, safe under the high ball, good kick returner and a good finisher. This guy is all this and more.

Wouldn't it be brilliant if Charnley and Burgess were our wingers for the next 10 years? But I'm afraid the NRL will come calling soon enough
