PLAYING THE JOKER
Wednesday 7 May in the Banqueting Suite at LSV kick off 7-30 pm

A comedy hit play based on the early attempts from Eddie Waring to get our great game a higher public profile. The play follows a young rugby league fan's quest to meet Eddie and put some home truths to his hero.The evening continues with pie and peas supper (courtesy of Hollands' Pies) and the a fun follows up with our own version of A Question of Sport. Paul Rowley will pit his sporting knowledge against Neil Jukes with panels made up from the Leigh Centurions Team. Allan Rowley will be hosting the evening and take the place of Sue Barker as quiz host.
Tickets are on sale at £10-00 pp and the event is limited to 200 tickets. Tickets are on sale at the ticket office. All monies raised on the night will be donated to the club.

Leigh Centurions present "Playing The Joker", a brand new smash hit Rugby League play, by award winning author and Sunday Mirror sports journalist Anthony Clavane.

Playing The Joker is a play about Eddie Waring's attempt to give Rugby League a national profile. Through song, dance, jokes and gripping drama, it follows a young Rugby League fan's quest to meet Eddie, and put some truths to his hero.

This dramatic spectacular will be followed by a Question Of Sport, as Leigh Coaches Paul Rowley and Neil Jukes, and guests, battle it out to see who has the best sporting knowledge.

Just in case you are thinking of going make sure you get your tickets ASAP.From the response so far it looks as though there could be a shortage and seating is limited to 200. Don't be one of those who says "IF ONLY". tickets available at the ticket office (at the moment).
