severely lacking in comparrison to our near neighbours, they bleed for the shirt against us, we do not recipricate

We are are 1-25 a better team on paper and the table relects this, but V each other Wane gets them up to do the job against us

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Re: Passion : Fri Apr 18, 2014 7:15 pm
Indeed. I'm sure Brown sent the team out with a game plan and a professional way of going about their business, but we seriously lacked that effort you need to win trophies.

I know it was not a playoff game, but to win a derby you need that level of intensity. We go on about the NRL being intense week in week out. Well we would not measure up on that performance. Defensively we were outclassed.

Wane always puts big rough aggressive players in his pack which blends with the classy type forwards like Farrell and SOL (who can also mix it).

I believe aggression is a must for wane to sign a forward on.

Our pack is soft.

This all points to the coaches not getting the best out of the players we have. Simple

Do you Genuinely believe you're 1-25 better than Wigan, Simon? Your coach would disagree, and both times we've played you so far this season (today and in the friendly) would also suggest otherwise. As for the league position proving this, you're not taking into consideration the WCC or that the league season (in it's current format) is not truly representative of which team is most capable of winning when it matters. If that were the case Huddersfield and not ourselves would have done the double last season.

The only two wi*an players that I'd take for our first team would be Green & SOL. You'll obviously disagree because, in our own way, we're both biased. But that is my genuine belief.

The difference today (and in several other clashes between us in recent years) was the level of aggression, intensity & passion displayed by the wi*an players - and the fact that the semi-shaven ape made changes at halftime to improve your tactics, whilst Brown presumably played with his todger.

What had Wane done to his hair? Seemed to shave it on top and left around back and sides

:D Whose todger? Wane's or his own?

YOu have a way with words but I agree with you. I didn't like reading in the press how Brown said it was just another two points and he wanted to take the emotion out of the game. I don't think Brown understands the Wigan Saints derby at all. He should have done the opposite and fired the team up. I would have thought by now he'd have got it but it would seem that he hasn't.
