Come down to the Shay Stadium this Wednesday to watch Halifax RLFC U20's V Keighley Kougars U20's!

Kick off is 7.30pm and entry is by donation. All proceeds go to Fax Builder Fund in support of the U20's team.

Would love to but the conservatory needs a second coat and Mrs Spanishbob just wouldn't understand

If I was not working, I would of come watch.

Some good young rugby players from Halifax in both sides, best of luck Halifax.

Finished early, second coat done, Mrs happy, will put in an attendence.

Is parking permitted in the car park for under 20s games or is it reserved?

Very entertaining game which ended up 32 - 30 to Fax with the lead changing hands on a regular basis.

Fax probably had more flair and threat twice holding a 2 score lead only to be pegged back before getting the result against the Cougars who stuck to a good game plan and played well as a unit.

£400 donated through the gates for the lads coffers was well received.

Unfortunately young Courtney from the Cougars picked up a bad leg injury and the game had to be stopped for sometime waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

Hope you get through this mate.

A cracking game played by two 'proper' under 20's sides with some excellent attacking play from both teams .

Thought the young lads from both teams did exceptionally well to concentrate fully on the game after the sickening injury to young Tom , it couldn't have been easy .

Latest news is that he suffered a dislocation of his ankle , a break to the bone and ligament damage - not good for a lad who eat sleeps and breathes his rugby but I'm sure he'll comeback the stronger.

The Cougars have already issued an official thanks to all the staff@Fax for their assistance with Tom last night and the concern and good wishes that came from the home fans was much appreciated .
