Why send him out on loan when we know Johnston is injured and Leigh are coming to town? Very odd and could well backfire in us

Yeah. He probably wants game time. He probably signed under the assumption he would be 1st choice stand off.
BTW, he scored a drop goal v Keighley today

Quite agree with what's been said . KH has this habit of playing players out of their natural positions . Today we had Murrell and Mennell at half back . Murrell is a quality player but should be playing at 13 , he has definitely lost a yard of pace and should be picked in his best position. Mennell bought in from Batley is a pretty good nine and should be rotating with Kaye at hooker . Holden is a good young hooker but did KH have total faith in him ? Previous Fax games this season he has bought on replacement hooker in the first - today it wasn't until late in the game did he send Holden on - that to me says something . With Johnston injured he should have started Brown alongside Murrell ( had to play at six because we had no other option today ) and rotated Kaye and Mennell .

Totally agree although Kaye is a big disappointment for me, I would play Holden as at least he has a burst of speed.
I think with Johnson we might have gone differently today but hey ho Leigh are a good team with a soft belly, a bit like the fax team of Callands era.
