Personally I think stills do not show the true nature of an event. Sometimes they do sometimes they don't. The disciplinary panel do not use stills for this reason. I doubt you are going to post stills of any of the Fax tries. Is it really worth inflaming the situation to create bad blood. He will be dealt with as severely as the disciplinary panel see fit. Can't you just be happy with the job players and fans did on him in the week leading up to the game.

If you do get the sound working listen to the commentary and then note the countless head shots/high tackles that the Fax players did on our lads. Not once did the ref take action on this blatent tactic of trying to decapitate anyone in a cherry and white shirt
Never mind, Rhino has built a team that has been used to being the bully boys in the championship the last few seasons, it now seems the bully's don't like being stood up to,

Agree with the stills but if anyone wants to watch the video then they should stump up the cash.

I wasnt just going to pull ones out with Sam, I took stills of the Barlow offside when the ball is on the kickers foot, Barlow fighting players for his sending off, and then the high shot on Bracek. That was all on Sam.

Others were the Tonks fight which like you say does not do it justice, the forward pass try which again has to be watched at normal speed and then the eye gouging incident after the Barlow sinbinning which again was probably just a case of the leigh player putting his hand in Divorty`s face but actually caught him near his eyes hence Divorty`s reaction.

On first viewing there really wasnt much that stood out from Fax, yes the odd high shot but there were easily as many if not more from Leigh that also went unpunished. One or two of the Fax players may have been over zealous in the fights but considering the incidents I cant really blame them.

Overall I think it were just a case of the ref losing control of the game but it actually working in Leigh`s favour. Some you win some you lose.

You are as biased as me Greg.

First Barlows try just on HT' no officials would have spotted offside as we are talking about inches.

I agree Brierleys first try was off a forward pass by Higson but Barlow had no imput into the other 4 tries.

Im not biased.

Watching at full speed Barlow looks more in front than he actually is and it probably should have been picked up. Still if he does not catch the ball in front of our players he does not score.

He has input in the try where he gets sent off though and twice the ref should have penalized him. Worst of all(not sure thats right given the result) but if the ref pulls him for running in to and fighting with Manning then he does not get sent off and leaves the field straight away as he was coming off anyway and leaves Leigh with 13 players. Luckily for him it worked out because the reaction would have been far different if he had cost Leigh the game.

So, 1 team is beating another 24-0, after 27 minutes. Then the losing side get reduced to 12 men with 30 minutes left....but end up winning 36-28.
After all this, the losing side's coach does not take the blame/criticise his players.
NO, he blames the winning side for starting 2 fights, and also calls the Referee !! (well...has a dig)
Then after all this, a supporter of the losing side requests permission to 'post stills' from the DVD footage, to help prove that his team were unlucky/robbed !
As the saying goes "you couldn't make this kind of thing up"

A good enough team takes a bad ref out the equation. Against Rochdale in the cup I would argue at least 3 of there tries should have been disallowed for one infringement or the other. They weren't but leigh did enough anyway. If Halifax were good enough on the day they would have won, they didn't.

Its all there on the video. 3 tries that should have been disallowed makes quite a big difference.

Dont make the mistake of thinking our players didnt get some of the blame for losing, its just that that happened behind closed doors.

From where I stood Faxs first try looked like he didn't ground it but the ref gave it so it's a try as was all the others scored by us or them!!!!!!!!!!
