Koukash is a breath of fresh air. He is trying to drive the sport and Salford forward but is being held back by Red Hall and the Yorkshire mafia. He could be the best thing to happen to the sport since Mo was in his pomp.
Mo was a great sports administrator as well as a visionary. While Koukash voices a lot of the same concerns about the sport being held back by decisions taken by the RFL and other SL chairmen as many fans have, he needs to give the PR stunts a rest. By this I mean stop saying he is going to sign whoever from the NRL when he knows it is not possible.
Mo would not have tried to force through rule changes on the back of it being so obvious it would benefit Wigan directly. Even if eventually rule changes he proposed did benefit Wigan he'd be far more subtle about it and would try and build a consensus of support. No say "Lets have a Marquee signing rule because I want to sign a Marquee player".
Koukash is a breath of fresh air but the shine will ware off quickly if he keeps approaching this in a bull in a china shop way.
