Can see them odds getting bigger as the season progresses , we will not make the semi finals of the cc or playoffs

If we avoid leeds or saints we could make the cc final but it'll end up like 1990 I'm afraid.

If we get to 15 or 20-1 or so then the grand final or cc are worth a punt. We have players who are well capable it just seems that they have (hopefully temporarily) forgotten how to be capable.

Terrible odds, no value there - Obviously basing the odds on the Wire side of the last 4 seasons, rather than the dross we have on the pitch at the moment.... Its not like we are particularly under-performing, like the Leeds' sides that came from nowhere to take the titles in 2011 and 2012, because I don't honestly see much improvement in our present squad.

What odds should we be??..... I'd go 50/1 to finish top of the table (We would probably have to win every game from here on in to do it).... Challenge Cup is probably our best bet, but 7/2 is still way too short, I'd go 6 or 7/1.... Grand final is not impossible, but its highly improbable, I'd go about 12 or 14/1, based purely on the fact that Tony Smith might just be able to coax a run of performances out of our lot come September/October.

I'd need 15s before I'd even consider betting on Wire to win the league.

Really??!!??..... Widnes are nailed on with that start - The pessimist in me thinks its 50/50 match, no start for either side... If I was a neutral bookie, I'd give Widnes 4-6 points start.
