I've been there myself earlier in the year.

I think we should have a clough watch thread. His stats are undeniably good, but for some reason he has a negative presence on the field, (by that I mean he seams to go on and off without anyone seeing the good work, not that he has a negative impact)

Clough the dark matter of St. Helens RL, impossible to see but his presense can be measured.

Clough had a slow start to the season, but the last couple of months he's been immense.
I've always been a fan, but admit that, following his neck injury, he took a while to get back into the swing of things.

Some games he doesn't seem to get many minutes.

He's a keen defender and won't miss tackle, but perhaps his lack of stature prevents him from being the dominant force that, say, Josh Perry can be in the tackle.

Yards have never been a problem and he's getting a little better at landing on his front and getting a reasonably quick play the ball. He's very capable of the short passes that can be effective clos to the defensive line, but offloads don't seem to come too frequently.

For me the best team performance would be Leeds at home:

For the worst team performance probably Wigan at Manchester:

I,m struggling for the rest as regards players, too many players inconsistent, Soliola could be club player of the year if he improves his defence. This season is probably the worse team we,ve had during the super league era. We have lost that winning mentality and attitude since Cunningham retired, it looks as though we will playing again full season without any experienced halves so for winning silverware I'm not very optimistic.

player of the season so far- torn between Makinson and Jones

I'm adding one: most consistent player so far - Laffranchi

Rest of season expectations- No idea.

Roby, sia, lomax and Laffranchi have been miles better than jones and makinson.
