O/T - Stag Locations : Tue Apr 15, 2014 9:56 am  

Sorry for another off topic thread, but looking for ideas for a stag do next March to somewhere in Europe.

The last 2 our group have been on were Ibiza and Albufeira but they were in summer, but with it in March this time, we probably need something a bit different.

We will be looking at renting a villa/apartment for 10 of us, so does anybody have some good ideas that I can look into?

I had mine in Prague and it was great, got a really cheap appartment and is cheap as long as you stay away from the British bars and strip clubs (maybe go there later).

Also been on a stag do in Krakow, but wouldn't recommend that for a stag do.

One of the best stag do's I have been on was an adult 80's weekend at Butlins.

Budapest, stay on the river, an amazing city and all you could ever want from a Stag do, makes Prague look like Blackpool too!

Hamburg's Reeperbahn.

The area is split by the main road; one side the touristy strip bars & night clubs where you get what you'd expect and the other side are propers bars with good value where you get a good night out mixing with all kinds of folk.

Depends what you and your group want really doesn't it??

March time for sun you're gonna have to look Southern Europe. If all you want is a boozy, sunny stag then maybe Turkey or even a tad further into Egypt/Dubai maybe. Decent deals in March and only 5/6 hour flight still.

Plenty of lovely cities for a bit of culture in Europe but again if you're looking for weather maybe struggling in March. St Petersburg/Budapest/Prague/Bratislava all beautiful cities.
Balkan cities are starting to come to the fore for stags/hens etc. Vilnius/Riga/Tallin

Take in some golf in Ireland or Portugal

Need to narrow your search down dude

Seconded. Just come back from a Sales Conference there and it's a great city. Drivers are completely mad, mind you.

Berlin's a great party city, and surprisingly cheap for a Capital, but it'll be cold in March

The Butlins Adult Weekends are great.

Also Benidorm is really good for a Stag Break but maybe not March.

We are looking at doing one next year, Possibly Wroclaw, would be interested if anyone knows much about the place, we did some research and it looks like a good destination.

My company has a European head office so I got some advice from one of the guys there and he said that Wroclaw is a really good place to go.

Unfortunately there are no 5 bed villas for us to rent though
