I put a message on this board about two months ago about the fact that I was half through writing my fifth novel in a series with a strong South Lancashire Rugby League based background that has one of the main characters in 'One Winter' being the orphan Thelma, born in Tonyrefail and brought up in a home in Cardiff.
I am amazed that it has had over 5,500 views, more than any other club, the second one being the Crusaders board , a couple of thousand behind and that was much more than any of the other club boards I have been on.
What does that say about people who visit this board? Well they must have some great interest in reading, so here are some more news for them.
The first novel 'One Winter' and the fourth novel 'One Autumn' have just been put on Amazon as e books (Kindle). Secondly I have just been able to add a couple of reviews from Dave Hadfield and Mike Stevenson to my web site.
Thirdly I am now getting near to writing the last chapter of novel number 5 and working out how to finish it in such a way that makes the reader want to know what happens next. This means that there is going to be another in the series but not for at least a couple more years I hasten to add.
Visit for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' and 'Two Seasons'. All five feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."
