Higson has been our outstanding player at Swinton this season and if indeed he is returning to yourselves I think youll be getting a great player. Hes played centre.
I think that us Swinton fans should now adopt to the almost Scouse levels of consternation at another team daring to sign our players as many of the Leigh posters on here did at the end of last season........

AJ is having a very good season for Swinton and as has already been suggested would be OK for us playing in the pack.

Yeh Charlie I did thankyou. See you tomorrow when no doubt you will hand over what you owe me. :)

As Mark Richardson has said, Higson has arguably been Swinton's best player this year. He has played regular rugby in a regular position with a coach who rates him. This was all he needed to show that he is a good championship player. I think we are a littled deluded if we think we have miles better players at Leigh. If we had SL backs, then maybe so, but we do not. We have good championship players, who I rate and enjoy watching. Adam did not have his best game against Leigh , but his team were well and truly thumped on the day, in particular his forwards. There wasn't much he could do, just as there wasn't much our backs could do at Fev the other day. I have no idea if the rumours are true about him coming to us. I would welcome him. However, it would be no good for him to be playing bit part rugby at his age now, when he can play regular first team at a club, playing in the same comp. He broke into the leigh team in 2008. In 2013, a bit of rugby here and there would be pointless. He has done his time in the reserves and as a bit part player now.

2010/11 , 2009/10, AND 2008/09 THE MESSAGE BOARD SPONSERED A PLAYER
that player was voted for my all the messageboard sponseRS and three years running ADAM was voted for as our player.
AJ WAS JUST A LITTLE UNFORTUNATE LAST TIME OUT WITH INJURIES, injury free as good as Gardner IMHO

BIG step backwards IMHO, too injury prone and not really that good when fit

No doubt the people who don't think Higson is any good are the people who rated Bibey during his numerous pointless spells with the club.

Higson never had a run in the team and in a position where he could make an impact. He only left because he was worried he wasnt sure the club would survive and who would be coach so if it's true I'm made up for him.
..... and I'll be standing in the Hilton Park stand, yes that's right I've named the North Stand myself

Higson if I'm perfectly honest? - Not for me.

As Matt say's he had numeous opprtunities over 3 or 4 seasons to have claimed a regular shirt and he didn't take it. He looked to have the potential but I never saw him doing anything special in all that time.

I can not vouch for this season other than the Good Friday match, where at best I would say he put in yet another distinctly average performance.

Would Adam be a full back? I remember him playing there and having a bit of a shocker under the high ball but he may have overcome that. If McNally is off at the end of this season maybe PR may see a place there for him.
