My money is on Leon PRyce - apparently homesick and wanting to return back to the north of England. They won't want to announce it yet as we still have to play them twice. The Chase storyline is just to keep everyone off the scent...watch this space....

I hope not, he's lazy and very one dimensional. No thanks.

He's very inconsistent, he can go missing for weeks, but then on his day is a fantastic player. He is also big for a stand-off.

I'd prefer the younger, and no doubt cheaper Holdsworth to be honest.

Jakes right we ain't going to get a half dozen world beaters - hopefully we'll get a class half (personally I would hope it is Chase as I've got faith in Gentles managerial skills and we need a "ying" to seymours "yang") and a good prop but the rest will be young/solid rather than stars. Classic Aussie tactics of building around the spine of 1 (Horne), 6 (Chase?), 7 (Seymour) and 9 (Heremaia/Houghten) - with added Ellis for some class in the pack. With a good prop, Westy at 13 and Whiting as a super sub/cover it would look a good top 6 (maybe 4) challenging side with a possible cup run in them.

I don't care which half we sign, the better they are the longer they'll be out injured anyways, with our luck

Why would the club be exploring the possibility of overseas halfs if chase was a done deal?

I think paea knocking us back has meant we're now looking at spending his wedge on a half back

Or where looking to still sign a prop and a half.
