Saw the report on sky sports news. He's come across for free just before training camp, shows what a class act he's become after the trouble he got into a few years ago.

Saw the breaking news yesterday on Double Coverage, by far the best UK Site for American Football. Sky Sports stole their story.

Tom Wort, the Oklahoma guy helped out Sussex Thunder a few months ago, and we've occasionally had Jermaine Allen (Bears & Saints), Brett Rosenbaum (Arena league) and a couple others who've played in the states coming back to the Stallions to help out. Birmingham have a link with Pete Carroll as well, got a pep talk from him before the final this year.

I see Vernon Kaye got himself in the pics again, shame it wasn't a pic of Ray Lewis demonstrating helmet to helmet hits on him :BEAT:

Lewis is a class act and an NFL legend.

Wouldn't be shocked if Vernon had something to do with him coming over. From what i've heard from the guys who've played in the States, the only real difference is the fact that guys there have played since they were 7-8, and most in Britain start at about 18, so reading the game and reaction speed is a low slower, but in terms of pure athleticism, we can be as good.

49ers-Saints playoff game from last year picked up the ESPY game of the year (best match in US sports) although I think that game 6 between the Rangers and Cardinals was a bit unlucky not to win.

What type of improvement do you expect/want from Alex Smith this year?

Haven't been on here for a while. Are we doing the NFL.com fantasy league again? I fancy retaining my title

First concussion today for me against Chester, got hit helmet to helmet by the FB coming through the line. Refs didn't flag it.

Won 51-7 against the 2nd best team in the division, their TD came from a pick six. Beat Manchester next week and we win the division.
