I posted this on our forum after it was pointed out that none of our fans had given cas any credit for yesterday etc, so apologies if we appeared unsportsmanlike in not offering congratulations on your win,like i said most of us are too concerned about our poor form, so

To be fair re:cas, i dint think they were particularly great,they just did the basics very well and capitalised mostly on our shambolic defence and pathetic attack, but you are right we are all too wrapped up in our own teams failings that we have failed to acknowledge cas' good win, so well done castleford you totally outplayed us and very much deserved the win,good luck for the rest of the season

...how you can criticise your fans and say they didn't give us credit and then proceed to say we merely capitalised on your shambolic defence and pathetic attack?

surely that the same as not giving us credit:?

No im saying that although you played well and did the basics well that you were helped by our lack of ability at times,however you still would have won comfortably as you were clearly the better side, perhaps i worded it wrong

Nice comments albeit a little late but at least one of you gave us some credit.

Bit disappointed that all the comments seem to be that Huddersfield shouldn't have lost to Cas and no praise has been given to Cas for excellent defence.

Some people are too touchy! I'd say the OP is a fair assessment of the game to be honest.

forgive us for not storming onto your board and offering congratulations earlier - most of us are stil trying to fathom out how we have gone from the best team in the country to the worst in 8 weeks

Dont know if you noticed but a few of our fans stayed behind on the Princess street to applaud the Cas players off after the game - we didnt even give our lot that pleasure - we were played off the park, even though we didnt exactly make that a hard task on the day.

We never do well at Cas but had a cracking day out with your fans in the pubs as usual, all the best guys and girls !

Keep them peckers up Hudds fans. We've gone from being a side comparable with the lower end of the championship (last monday) to putting 50 on a side who are in the last 4 of the cup and sitting in the top 8. Wire got bashed about tonight, you lot will have a lot to prove in the cup, stranger things have happened....
