No worries. Again it's a very nice shirt, and if it hadn't already been bid on I would have perhaps advised her to maybe hold on to it for a few years. It was pretty well made, and on the pitch signalled the start of the rebuilding of the club, so holds good memories for Rovers fans in some ways.
Absolutely, should be a cracker.

Such a cool guy, Should post more but his shirt collection takes alot of collating.

It's a horrible shirt, but I love Roofs.
I've never met him but look at his advice!

Hmm, not sure I'd agree with 'Horrible' mate, eg it was better than last season's sache effort surely?!
Yeah I've kinda took a back seat on here the last 6-12 months. Still love it though, better than hullkrfans (with all its cliches and politics) any day.
Wish I'd said hi to ya at headingley last year in the rain mate when saw 'GOOSE POWER' a few steps in front of me but had a bad feeling at the time I'd upset / peed you off over something on here so thought better not.

You did right Roofs, Sandra holds a grudge like no other. He would have given you a karate chop to the neck & a swift front kick in the groin, you'd have stood no chance. The times I've seen him at the KC with Mrs B In a headlock, it's frightening. No, if you see the Goose & you've pee'd him off, stay clear.

I liked that kit. It was miles better than the 2010 one, certainly (IMO).

Yeah I guess it was okay after the initial shock!
Hey so what happened with the shirt rowdellhead? I noticed it ended without anyone matching the 99p starting bid, did she remove the auction and take the £40 offer?
The ones I mentioned in a previous post that I thought were cool from 1990 (the cotton Riding Bitter ones), there's actually one on there ending today at nearly £40. Looks very smart but not bidding personally, have bought a few old ones over the last 2 or 3 years and there's only so many chances to wear them eh (as smart as it is).

Was going to say i see alot of that shirt worn so must be plenty about and as roofs has said not really limited edition. Ive also seen plenty of the GF one you mentioned roofs but i cant find many of the one which had the northern rail cup winners tag stitched above the badge.
so the panel took the same view as your excellent assessment.
Weren't the Cup final ones actually wrongly embroidered with 'National Rail Cup' around the badge? Can't be bothered to get mine out and make sure but I could've sworn it didn't say Northern Rail Cup.
