Bored with the whole thing now, some on the Bradford forum still seem to maintain this "too big to fail" and superleague needs us mentality, and along with the expectation that under no circumstances should they have to part with any players it's becoming increasingly difficult to maintain any sympathy.I do however believe that this so called ABC consortium may have overestimated there strength with regards to the demands it is seeking from the RFL, such as the lease for Odsal must be sold to them and superleague status must be assured. The initial reaction from the RFL was quite measured, and specifically asked with regards to the lease, ok you want the lease but what are you going to do with it and where does Valley Parade fit in to your plans ? I just have a feeling that were the RFL seen to go too far in its asisstance in this whole sorry affair, the massive amount of publicity already generated and the nature of any revelations which may or may not surface during the inevitable enquiry might just be a touch too unsavoury, even for the RFL.

Just listened to another 15 mins of 'poor Bradford' on Boots n All. Starting to wear thin now. We didn't get 1% of the coverage, sympathy and support that Bradford are getting. RFL also wouldn't guarantee SL for Wakefield, interesting if they guarantee it to Bradford. :FRUSRATED:
Continue to support the new stadium at Newmarket Lane.
You know it makes sense.
Wakefields roller coaster ride continues in 2013.

Is this still dragging on? Have they had another 'last match' yet? Not sure who is benefitting from this endless pantomime but it doesn't look good for the game.

Yep it's all very boring now. Did we expect any different from the RFL ? It just confirms what they are all about, as if we didn't already know.

The worlds biggest Indian Restaurant, Odsal 1 with Robbie Paul doing the official opening or maybe a fish shop because all smells a bit fishy to me!
I hope our super league future is safe in the glovebox :)

The RFL bought the Odsal to keep it out of the hands of predatory property developers.

The proposed consortium want the transfer of the lease to them as a pre-condition. The consortium includes property developers. The RFL are said to be concerned about why they want the lease.

So what on earth do they do now? Hang onto the lease to see the Bulls go under, or sell the lease to predatory property developers? Interesting.

From what I can gather, the lease is worth about £1.2m. The ABC consortium want the lease handed over to cover projected losses over the next couple of years. So if the RFL do that they are in effect letting the club have the ground ownership and obviously no rent to pay with the big plus of a valuable asset.

As Glover stated in his radio interview, the rent we pay is a massive mill stone around our neck. Maybe we should be supported in such a way that we could then have the luxury of spending up to full cap? Of course in all fairness I would never expect that to happen. In comparison it looks like Glover has been ripped off big time in purchasing us if ABC demands are met. Glover had no Guarantee of SL (most probably Championship rugby) and no asset of a ground given over. The whole thing looks very dodgy to me.

If the coaching and backroom staff have been made redundant why haven't any of the players been sold to cover the losses? Why did we lose our best players in the first week of admin yet the RFL are willing to stump up the wages of the Bradford players? Probably covering old ground here but it stinks basically.
