I actually think they could be something in these chase rumours . I don't think it's a done deal like some have said but the way hull have responded to the rumours I think there close to at least 1 deal for an half back . McRae not really going to come out and give the full run down on deals or say we're nearly done on the chase signing etc , but I think we're pretty close .

One thing McRae didn't do in the story was deny that Chase was a target of Hull's. When rumours like these reach club level their spokesman, in this case McRae always deny and quash the rumour beyond all doubt. I think the one thing that will put Hull off Chase is the £350'000 price tag.
The Mighty Hull FC, Carlsberg don't do rugby league clubs....but if they did..........
Why would the club be exploring the possibility of overseas halfs if chase was a done deal?
I think paea knocking us back has meant we're now looking at spending his wedge on a half back
Maybe the club are giving the impression that they have several players lined up, so that they can get a better deal from the player/agent/selling club. Players and Agents do this all the time in reverse, such as NRL players claiming they have a big offer from SL on the table, to get more money out of their existing club.
