not done an awful job, but i was expecting the team to have done a little better. Some games/players have been frustrating. Recruitment was as well as could be expected with the timescale the club had. Next season will be the one I judge on, when he has recruited some of his own guys and got rid of some of those he doesnt want.

Yes this, like you said above we could have quiet easily have had another 4 or 5 wins but for a call her and there, the Warrington game the most obvious one but also, Leeds, Hull, Hull KR and Bradford and that would put a different reflection on the season. The biggest downer performances were the Bradford home one, the London away game followed by the Cas home game, those 3 vexed me off no end.

Not good enough to be a top level coach. All this talk about about having a few more wins on the board, no one mentions the games against hull and Salford which we could easily have lost.

We cant defend thats for sure and with this set of players should have had more wins.Like him or not hes got another 2 years left on his contract after this season and you can bet your life he will see it out just like he did at Hull even in the face of loads of abuse.Dont think he has it to be honest and by the looks of things couldnt put fire in a well lit BBQ.Do I think we can do better than Agar has us doing a big yes but get used to the idea of him as our coach and the down turn in attendance.

my lad plays for eastmoor u 8's and i wouldnt want him coaching them, the guy is a imposter as he certainly isnt a rl coach.if anyone fancies a game just try and get in his good books cos i think that what he picks his team on,ie wood plays ellis dont

Told buy a first team member that Agar was like a horse in foal with Washbrook and Wood when he first arrived, and also the same two sat on his table while eating at the club after training laughing at Agar's poor jokes, I will also say Wakefield had 3 far better players in the squad in Ellis, Wildie and Moore ? Kyle Wood could not kick a barn door, his defence is weak, and offers nothing in creativity ? Ask his former 6 clubs who released him, Wakefield acadamy, Doncaster, Batley, Cas, Sheffield, Hudds, WHY does this clown Agar play him, and WHY would Nathan Brown at Hudds give him away for nothing, It beggars belief !!!

Still prepared to consider that the squad is a bit "thrown together" and would be prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt until after some off-season recruitment. I am more bothered about how far off the eight we are than the actual league position number. If we are nowhere near the eight this time next year, he's done for me.

Must admit I expected better with the players we have, we just don't learn from our mistakes, week by week it's the same old, same old.

Don't know any details but from the outside the Ellis affair leaves a bitter taste with me, the lad just has not had a fair crack ( Wood must be some player)

Just like a lot on here, Agar would not have been my choice, especially on a 3 year contract, BUT we have him now and like Slugger says we have to make the eight next season for him to continue.

For me we are underachieving and much of it can be layed at Agars door. Baffling team selections and use of interchanges, a reluctance to play a forth prop preferring to play a guy out of position, an inability to improve a porous defence, terrible 2nd half tactics, the list goes on.

Yes we are stuck with him and yes he probably deserves a chance to prove himself next year but i'm afraid i don't have much confidence in his ability to improve matters. That said i'd love him to prove me wrong.

Yeah I don't think it would be fair to start calling for his head until he's had the opportunity to sign some players of his own. We do have some good individuals in the team, but if you look at the teams around us then you could argue that they all have similar squads and nowhere near competing for the top 8, like ourselves.

I quite like him as a bloke and hope he can be the one to lead us to bigger things... (next year!!)

Unfortunately we can do nothing about Agar other than keep giving the club our opinions via these messageboards and letters to the club/media. Just keep counting the days down and hope Glover doesn't listen to Elston when Agar requests a contract extension.

Presume that the next big stink will be when Agar releases Ellis but keeps Wood or transfers Walshaw but keeps Mellars?
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

He obviously has many skills but he is not a Super League coach. But to be fair some of his team should also take a kicking as well. Is the condition of the players as good as it could be to sustaine 80mins of play? I think agar is an excellent assistant coach but given the fact that we are in the final few weeks of this season and he is still talking about the next game and the next. Is it now next season? then when we are not performing in 2013 will it be the next season? Fact is he has not pulled any rabbits out of the hat. John Kear with this current team would have done a lot better.
