I have no idea how true this rumour is, I haven't tried to find out, So all i know is whats posted on here.


All i do guarantee, If you have done a deal for Rangi Chase, And want him now. He will be allowed to leave, Our season is already over. So a fee for him would be accepted to sign him early.

So they run a story over week-end regarding h/back with CHASE in the headlines, now McRae is quoted as saying the current rumours are unhelpful and unsettling for players.....WTF!!

That headline was contrived, I'm (almost :) ) certain. It doesn't read well and there are plenty of better alternatives to 'lead the chase' - 'in the market for', 'exploring options' etc.

If it wasn't a pre-announcement (which in itself seemed odd, even if most likely), then it looks like somebody has done it for a laugh.
