Rumour on the Widnes forum is that you've signed our former junior player, Shane Grady. He's currently in Aus playing park footy.

was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Well we certainly need some centres though if this guy is rated below Chris Dean I'd have some serious worries. Can he tackle?

One Widnes fan reckoned he lacked pace, so as good as Howell and Jo'C then, and probably cheaper. Still it is another young Brit, so he won't get homesick.

Playing in the park is where most of the team seem to be nowadays so he will feel at home.

He got fast-tracked into the Championship first team but didn't seem to set the world alight. He got spelled a lot at second row as he didn't seem nippy enough to be in the backs at the time.

But in the strong Academy sides he was highly rated and I think he played for Lancs in County of Origin. Also a good goal-kicker.

He recently got selected for some sort of NSW Country side.

He will be okay in our country side. I remember our pre-season and the team lost in the country side. Maybe the plans for the season were hidden under the big rock found on one of the pictures and were never retrieved.

Is Brian Mac still in charge of player recruitment?

What does that matter.

Who is shaping the team in preperation for next year? I wonder if we have a coach lined up who is giving the nod on player selection/procurement. Am I using to much logic :)
