Arrogant? Doesn't sound like me....

At the end of the day everyone's entitled to an opinion, even a half-baked, ill-informed one. My opinion is that today's players have advanced in professionalism and fitness over those of 10/15/20 years ago, but have declined steeply at the top level in most other areas (particularly in terms of ability to provide entertainment value). This is supported by the fact that players that would have whiled their careers away in midtable obscurity once upon a time like Carmont, Shenton, Smith, Myler, Gaskell, Gardner etc. etc. are now expensive, prized and fought over targets for the top clubs. Your opinion may be different. Good luck to you on that if so.

Yes you do sound arrogant, But as you say, we are all entitled to our own "half-baked, ill-informed one".
Perhaps you could acknowledge that about your own opinion may be as well as all others.... Thats why you sound arrogant. Have a lovely day looking in your mirror and preening.

Now you're learning ;)

See, you can educate a Wigguner - it just takes a bit more effort than for most normal people, that's all ;)

That wasn't even nearly close to the argument you silly person. If you're going to precis a previous debate then at least use something vaguely approximating the facts when doing so.

The debate actually revolved the good old "form is temporary, class is permanent", and that fact that, despite currently underperforming and labouring under substandard coaching, there would be more Saints players in a "best 17" team based on their basic quality and class than Pies. However my learned friend is completely incapable of grasping this basic concept. C'est la vie.

what a fool haha, and read what i was replying to, it was regarding are previous argument about wigan players being far better than the plastics over the hill. i really couldn't care less if you think rugby league standards have fallen only an idiot couldn't see that the players are far better athletes these days.

That's clearly because you know the square root of **** all matey.

There's nothing wrong with reasoned debate and opinion, but anyone who would suggest that there was only one Saints player better than their equivalent at Wigan goes well beyond the bounds of said opinion and firmly into the heady heights of one-eyed clueless numptyville and is worthy of nought but derision. You suck. There, consider yourself derided ;)

I've already said players are fitter and more professional now you utter, utter tool. Read the posts and respond reasonably to the points actually being made and not ones you invent in your imbecilic tiny little mind in future with your trademark unwarranted partisan abuse added in for extra knuckle-scraping points on the way. Little bit of advice for you there. My posts are both informative and entertaining. Gravy all the way.

"Hur, hur, hurrrrrr... Me fink Saints better than inbred fingies over hill, innit like? Hurrr... hurr... hurrrrr....."

See? I can do you-style posts easily if I want to too... I don't as I have a brain...

I notice you made no comment on my previous post with regard to your arrogant attitude, but we are used to you picking your target, and ignoring all else. Comment if you wish, but you will get no reply from me. Have a nice life, and i'm sure when you figure out how to organise a marriage with yourself, you will be very happy.
