It'd be an insane decision for us to get rid of Clough unless Widnes have offered crazy money for him.

To let him leave and not replace him would be. But if we signed someone like Taylor from Hull KR or this Kiwi we're supposedly interested in it might be an improvement.

All gone quiet on the incoming rumours, is it safe to say our recruitment for next season is finished now?

Agreed. With the salary cap I'm pretty sure Clough could command a starting front row position and salary at any number of clubs.

No trophies next season either if that is the case. Brown's revolution will be very slow if this is the level of ambition we're showing.

There may be better targets for the 2014 season; we just do not know.

I'd rather Saints bring players in that will improve our team/squad rather than bringing them in just for the sake of it.
2014 OOC

Ade Gardner, Josh Perry, Tony Puletua, Anthony Laffranchi (1yr Option), Mark Flanagan, Lee Gaskell, Paul Wellens, Francis Meli, Nathan Ashe, Joe Greenwood, Jordan Hand, Dominic Speakman, Adam Swift, James Tilley, Anthony Walker, Dan Yates

Come on Saddened it is not like you to be downbeat! Others think that Brown has worked miracles at the Giants with cast-offs and never has beens, why would you not be challenging for honours under his tutelage given the number of good juniors he will have at his disposal?

I see it quite often outside Galloways in Billinge.
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row
