I'll be including any signings we make too so we can see how they're going on compare against what we are replacing.

19 offloads is terrific even against a team who aren't as high up the table as us. That's a definite improvement on last year's efforts.

Normally i would agree with that statement.

However against Widnes many of the offloads were just plain reckless, and resulted in either lost possession large loss of territorial position, or loss of team structure.

Quite frankly i felt like doing this :WALL:

Along with almost every other Saints fan in the stadium!!

I'm happy with us to offload the ball and take a risk from time to time. In the end it was a Meli offload that created the overlap for Jones' winning try. Offloading the ball to create 2nd phase play (especially around the ruck) is our best chance of success this year especially with our 'erratic' half back combination.

Roby leads the way AGAIN. Wilkin also deserves credit for his tackling alone.

Decent stats, very workmanlike in the pack, thought Wilkin had a good game involved in most plays despite playing in the Exile game 4 days before. Perry looking very solid again and getting match fit, Josh Jones another game under his belt.
The new dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Ashe-Lomax--Charnock-Gaskell-Jones-Makinson-Swift-Walmsley, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

Wilkin's work rate and commitment was good but some of his passing was diabolical. He's being asked to do alot at the moment with our misfiring half backs.

I'd rather Wilkin stick to tackling and running because he's pretty good at both. His passing and kicking is too erratic to be organising. If he wants to organise he should be prompted the half backs not doing their job for them. How are they going to learn without getting their ball in their hands at key times?
