Obviously the mess Bradford is in is more complicated that the one we were in. That and our administrators made the club as attractive as possible by cutting costs on and off the field. If memory serves me correct, there wasn't a massive panic about a buyer as the administrators never said a deal had to be done quickly to 'save' the club, making the process less of a race so things could be done properly.

There are good administrators and bad administrators, and while ours had to sell players, I'd say we had a relatively pain free process thanks to them.

I stand corrected. Too easy to throw stones at the RFL regardless.

17 day extension? How long can this go on for? Getting wages paid by the RFL? Takes the mickey when comparing to other clubs who have gone to the wall.

Bulls ok for another few weeks, the rfl are paying the wages for July...

The RFL are advancing them money they would have got later in the season. They helped us in many ways through our admin, and are doing the same here. I'd put more blame at the doors of the administrators for the way this has been dealt with and those who got them in it in the first place.

Can't stand administrators who are always in the press, couldn't name who ours was, they just got on with it.

It seems that the consortium looking to buy the Bulls want Odsal handing back to them. I'd be a little wary of someone who as a condition of purchase wants Odsal back rather than being prepared to rent from the RFL. Okay it makes them more secure but the RFL allegedly purchased the lease from the Bulls to protect this iconic stadium from predatory Developers.

I'm sure the RFL are clever enough to sell them the lease at market value and place covenants to ensure that it remains used for Rugby League rather than risk someone buying the Bulls cheaply and then selling Odsal for development and making a killing.
