Are you saying that a great many of the regular posters didn't express concerns?

Are you attempting to imply that the only reason for the current crisis of the club is the change of name, some regular posters Yes have become totally obsessed with this, but for me it is not the reason of the situation we are in.

It is time to move on with regards the name of the club, is is absolutely pointless debate any longer, it detracts away from the real problems we are going through, with our current club coach and the running/administration of the club.

The re-brand is nothing to do with the failures of the club this year, imo.

It's pointless going on about the reversion to London Broncos...we will not be changing name again in the foreseeable future. Let's move on.
Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.

He never implied that,
I don't think anyone apart from you has taken what he said to imply that.
Don't think anyone thinks the name change is the root of our problems.
Don't think anyone is obsessed with the matter.
It was not the point of his post, merely a part of the overall picture.

When there is only 35 of us here on the forum, I wonder what is a great many.

I fully accepted that some did express concerns but we all know who they are, so I'm unsure why GF needed to raise it again. Obsessed, I do think some will not let the name change go, or it would not keep getting raised over and over again.

The re-branding would have worked if it had been done properly - i.e. with a decent marketing budget (DOWN Gutters!). I did think of an admittedly drastic solution to the 'get rid of Powell' problem, but I didn't fancy spending what years are left to me in Parkhurst!

No! don't want to see that happen to you however drastic the situation is!

The RFL seem to be pulling out all the stop for Bradford, so how about them taking Powell to work in Development in the South? but I seriously wonder who would take us on as a club now at this stage of the season and the mess we are in, would anyone other than a top coach be able to put in some input to what is getting close to saving the club?

I wouldn't worry, given the evidence of the past 2 seasons there's no jury in the land that would convict you!!
Well f**k my hat, I didn't know that!

Come all without, come all within, we're London Broncos not the H********s!

It's the name change that is to blame

If Powell's contract is up at the end of the year, wouldn't it be nice if the club come out and said that it wouldn't be renewed and that they were actively searching for the new man? We can all wish though.

Nice to see that another thread has been derailed by GF though.

Can that be true, our fine moderators always bring people to task when they do this and issue warnings :)
