Pay off Powell and a different volunteer fan could volunteer to coach the team the team each week.

It could not be any worse and maybe more fans would turn up, I think it would be very cathartic. Or we could do a collection to get rid of him.

This suggestion is no more surreal than the situation we are in!

Why not just declare the club bust then reform as a new company with everything the exact same but with a new coach

The Club have covered themselves in anything but glory this year. From the moment the name change was 'touted", a good number of regular posters expressed their concerns, but the CEO ploughed on with the re-brand, whilst the chairman for some unknown reason, retained the coach who had managed the club to 6 wins and a draw over 27 games in the SL.
Fast forward just under 12 months and the coach has delivered 3 wins in the SL and the CEO and his hand picked team of expertts has delivered a drop in fans and no sponsors to speak of.

I don't "blame" either of them by the way......I actually feel a bit sorry for them in that they have been appointed to roles where neither had the experience required to perform to the expectations of the Chairman.

Both have enthusiasm in bucketloads.......and both should be thanked for their efforts, but since they both came to their roles, the club have managed 19 competition points from a possible 94, we have had no shirt sponsor to speak of, the boxes are as empty as they have always been and we have gone from an average of 3,380 at the end of 2010 to 2,876...15% down..........so they should be thanked on the way out the door in my opinion that is.

Failure has got to stop being rewarded.........

was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

You lose even more credibility when you commence with a sentence a statement like this! :)

Are you saying that a great many of the regular posters didn't express concerns?
