If it is our own fans then they should be identified and banned for life.

No matter whose fans they were they should prosecuted as well, they are simply pathetic morons.

If true that's disgusting, would hope if anyone knows them that they come forward and inform the club. Not what we want in RL.

Oh well,I was in a good mood until I read the above.
I was even going to thank each and every SCR supporter who got to the game. But as it appears the racist is still breathing I'll change to thanking the players for 'grinding out' a victory for the first time this season when they have in the past lost by a few points when not at their best.
Apart from the usual service by Stephen Wild,as stated by PV. I thought it the best performance of the year I have seen by Ryan Boyle. We were much more committed when defending.
I was confused by the second half try by KR allowed after 2 of our players were knocked to the floor by a 'dummy runner' ? Allowed anyway and they got the second half off to a flyer with a 40/20 but we dug in with
a great deal of team spirit.

Must comment the physio who was on the field in a flash when Ben Gledhill appeared to be suffering. He appeared to be suffering after the first tackle yet still managed another, which exemplified the spirit.

The season starts now...

...agreed! If we turn up and play we can string together a run of wins -

H - Widnes = improved form, but we must be favourites.

A - Hull FC = out of sorts, potential for a shock result?

A - London = big chance for 2 points away.

H - Hudd = hope they are still playing like they did today :)

lose to Widnes and forget it. 3 out of 4 we have a chance / 4 of 4 and we are right in the mix for top 8 ....

well here's hoping.

Of the 7 games remaining I would say we have a real chance to win in 5 of those, the other 2 being Wigan & Leeds away, let's see! I think the 8 is definitely in sight if we show the kind of commitment that has been mentioned from today's performance!

I think it more likely Salford being Salford that we will lose to either Widnes or London and win either at Leeds or Wigan.

Don't think there's any real hope of getting into the top 8 but having said that think that 9th would be a real good outcome from the season. Depending on recruitment/retention the top 8 should be a real target for next season and should be seen as good steady progress.

Thought Ste Wild was fantastic. Some of the hits he was putting in were immense. And it was nice to see the players in the middle of the field in a group at the end of the game cheering and celebrating before they came over to the fans. Great team spirit!

The only abuse I remember Rovers fans giving was to matty ashurst after the ref singled him out for back chatting him.

Where was Sean Gleeson yesterday?
Is that a level playing field I see on the horizon?
