In accordance with the great job New Labour did to the country, I propose we pre fix the RFL and SL with New.

People need to worry less about finances and silly things like sustainability.
Brown famously sold the Gold low, the RFL has only sold its soul, I dont see the problem, you all just need to party on and remember confidence is everything. In the Matrix Neo was told there was 'no spoon', and now im telling you all, there are no bills to pay, its all an illusion, we don't need sponsorship, we need love, love is all you need.

With lots of love and an increased use of the words 'Super' and bringing in the word 'New' to our game everything is as Bob Marley Said 'Gonna be alright', in fact Three Little Birds may well have been written with some weed induced vision of the marvellous job the RFL would be doing in future years with Rugby League.

Philanthropy is a word often underused in RL circles, its got to be the best way of providing an infrastructure that will encourage sustainability. Good housekeeping and personal responsibilty are a complete fallacy, they just don't work.

Peace and love to you all, don't forget to party hard and live the dream, everything, and i mean everything, SL included, just gets better and better, don't you forget it.

The RFL today met Super League club representatives to update them on developments at Bradford Bulls and to debate the issues caused by the uncertainty surrounding Bradford’s administration.

RFL Chief Executive Nigel Wood said: “It was a very positive meeting which provided us with an opportunity to inform the clubs of the practical steps we are taking.

It is clear that the clubs all recognise that the game as a whole has a part to play at this time and their views about the situation at Bradford were aired in a constructive way.

“The Super League clubs gave their full support to our endeavours to ensure Bradford Bulls complete the season.

“The RFL will continue to keep the clubs up to speed with developments during our on-going discussions with the administrator of Bradford Bulls.”

Reading between the lines that means the clubs will 'have to' support the RFL helping to pay to keep Bradford in SL until the end of the season at least if you ask me.
You know what makes me sick with all this is that Bradford are getting lots and lots of publicity and sympathy in all this and yet ithis is the club that aint paid it bills and aint paid the taxman (wouldn't we all like to be able to do that), a club that is unreliable and untrustworthy yet they are being treated like they have been hard done to, poor Bradford lets all get behind them.
Why???
I think they will come out of this stronger and without all this debt they will improve as a club, yet they will have walked away from all that debt, its morally wrong.

Fair point, 'corrupt' not being the correct word then...

Just watched an interview with the administrater or Brenda Tinfoil as the Bulls fans call him ,he was being asked how things looked after todays game .
"He replied that he had not seen much of the match as he had been talking to a consortium of businessmen throughout the day and he was hopeful that he would get someone to buy the club.He also said that despite the assurances by the RFL that they would try to keep Bradford going till the end of the season he dismissed that and said if no buyer comes forward the club will finish.
He seemed pleased that they had 10,000 through the gates and was hopefull that a good few would have paid in despite having a season ticket.
He seemed to think these business men were making encouraging noises about buying the club and said Mick potter was returning home as todays return was a one off."
So still a good bit of wheeling and dealing to do yet before this sorry story has finished.
YOU CAN LEARN FROM THE PAST BUT NOT RELIVE IT.YOU CAN HOPE FOR THE FUTURE BUT CAN NEVER BE SURE THERE WILL BE ONE.

The whole Bradford Bulls management is a joke and they should not be in SL after this season no matter what. They dont meet the minimum standards set for SL and they have done next to nothing about reducing their debt. The way they have failed or refuse to pay ALL what they owe the Tax man makes me sick. Taxes go on things like Police, Hospitals, Doctors, Schools and Teachers-services people rely on and need. ANY Sporting club that cant/wont pay what is owed should be wound up and forced to start again outside the top League.

The way Dodgy Nigel carries on is a disgrace. How him and his cronies gave Bradford a Grade B licence I will never know. The Licence procedure should be open to the public when the results are announced. The RFL treat the Championship clubs like outcasts- even Daryll Powell has said something similer in the Rugby League World Mag. Whilst Fax, Fev etc should not be promoted to SL why should a club that has broken the minimum standards and brought shame on the comp be allowed to stay in and not worry about things? Makes me sick how the RFL operate. And Nigel Wood and Ralph Rimmer have an excellent record at running a club and so the problems the game has I am not too surprised so many people are fed up with the RFL
