Saints No3 shirt has now gone from Lyon to Gidley to Shenton to Turner.
Decline in player standards or what?
Is this just Saints or is this happening to other clubs?

We only had Lyon for two seasons and we only had him at all because Daniel Anderson knew he had experienced mental meltdown, running off to the bush. Had he been a happy bunny in his career he would never have come to England.

Gidley was at the end of his career when he came to Saints although he was a superb player and a great mentor to the young blokes. But truly, those kinds of players - the really talented ones - are they that common to start with?

It's a lot more difficult to find top quality Aussies willing to come over these days, especially with increasing salary cap over there while ours stagnates

The HullFC website top story today is saying that we are 'leading the chase' for an SL half-back.

now either the story writer has made an unintentional pun, or the club are trying to hint at something

Don't let any Huddersfield fans hear you say that! They've been very aggressive on that subject.

It will be good to see him back in the 13 man game.

I'll believe it when I actually see him in a Roosters shirt.
