Ricky Bibey won 2 Challenge Cups and Richie Mathers has won a Grand Final and 2 Challenge Cups. Doesn't make them good players, it just means they were in the right place at the right time.

The odd exceptions yes, but winning 5 grand finals, 3 WCC's and 2 LL's under 3 different coaches as well as caps for GB and being selected for the England side again by 2 more different coaches kind of proves this wrong.
Rule 1. I am always right.
Rule 2. If in any case I appear wrong, refer to rule 1.

Or maybe he's been made to look good by the players around him?

I think the 5 professional coaches who have selected him would have taken this into account. Don't be silly.

Possibly. If he's so good then why he is not in every single GB/England squad?

No possibly about it, you couldn't hide through a team for 8/9 years under 3 different coaches especially one which has been so successful and not be found out. Probably because he has differing form, like every other player in the world. I've not claimed he is THAT good that he should be a shoe in for every international match, but certainly good enough to be selected consistently for one of the most successful superleague sides in history aswell as recognition internationally, all of which he has achieved under different coaches.

You are missing the point here. Bailey is a dirty player who acts like a coward when he is confronted. Don't care whether he is a good rugby player or not. I would be embarrassed to have in him my team, and his twitter tag (which Leeds are not using) sums him up.

He may have been in 18 grand finals, he may work 2 days a week voluntarily in a hospice each week, he might be the next pope. But he is still a dirty player that the game doesn't need.

End of discussion.

In that case, the game is going soft.
