Just watching the Tigers v Bulldogs game and Ray Warren mentioned his going to London to cover the olympics for CH9. Ray Hadley will also be in town. If possible I would love to see both or at least get Warren in the studio for a Super league game and just see what those guys think of the product? Even better would be to get Warren calling a game but I dont think that would be possible lol.
Super League, boots n all, Super league back chat, SSN? At least get them on something. Hadley would be funny on backchat. He doesnt hold back on the footy show.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS
I would be surprised if they could even name all of the teams in SL.
Maybe but I'm sure time allows them they will watch some games on tv. Warren is flying over this weekend so thats 3 weeks before the olympics starts. I think it would be crazy not to get him in for game.
Challenge cup semi final next week. BBC should get warren in the studio for the wigan v leeds game.
Oh dear god yes. ANYONE other than Eddie and Stevo.
All the sky team seem to do is bicker amongst themselves during the match rather than actually commentating on what's happening. The exiles game with Barry, Terry, Stevo and Eddie was ridiculous. Argument, after argument, after argument instead of commentating the game, but it doesn't just stop there. I watched the highlights of Salford v Warrington & for one of the Salford tries Eddie is talking about Warrington and the play offs as they scored it. During the Hull FC/Leeds game, Hull FC were making a break and Eddie wasn't even commentating on what was happening. They need to stop arguing and bickering & start commentating the game.
Stevo makes sweeping arrogant statements a lot more too. He'll see a try and go "yep he's got that down" before he's even seen a replay. Then the replay will show he hasn't but he'll argue that he did get it down. Also the stevoisms are getting on my wick too. "Coach <insertanycoachname> has got to the message out and say hey 'come on' or coach <insertanycoachname> will not be pleased with .... " other statements like "they need to get the link" and "try something different - a little chip over the top" or "second stanza", "I'm with you Eddie in regards to the fact that". He should be emasculated for persistently calling Rob Burrow beep beep too.
The State of Origin commentary was wonderful. Two blokes who just commentate on what they see in front of them. No arguing amongst themselves and going off on a tangent. Brilliant.
Eddie and Stevo in comparison are just two blundering amateurs. The sooner they're replaced the better. It's definitely time for a change.

And while we're at it, do we really need to see replays of every knock-on, every kick, every forward pass, every catch of a high kick, every tackle that is slightly harder than normal, every penalty awarded, every mistake made in the build up to a try, every off-load? FFS
Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

Spot on.
