Steve Tinker went along to the game to watch and ended up playing due to Brian Juliffe having an ankle injury.

What a shame injury ended his career early

Was a great team to watch, played some great fast flowing rugby at times and if we had been able to keep the side together I am pretty sure it would have gone on to a lot more success. As for Wembley my impression was that some of the players froze on the day and Widnes handled the occasion better.Anyway it was a fantastic day out and the team got a great reception on Wood Street when they came back.Ps Midgely was solid enough in the tackle but your heart went in your mouth everytime the ball went up in the air

I have the second half mate, i have not seen the first half since the game took place and i was only young then

The BBC in its wisdom only ran the second 40 mins.
Lets start a forum just for Wakey fans, we can all back slap each other and not have anyone to tell us any different, i want to be the club puppy and make myself look stupid time and time again.
