It doesnt look like the one I have on his testimonial programme - but who's to say that's genuine?

Is that a mission statement?

I did have his autograph, written outside the Wilderspool dressing rooms soon after he signed , in an autograph book that has long since vanished. I am trying to remember the signature but that is difficult seeing as i can't remember yesterday !

Sorry BW, I can not help you either. But if you blow up the picture it looks as though it was originally written in pencil and the inked over. Some of the letters have not been copied precisely, so you may never find the true answer.

I was thinking the same that it had been penciled over.

It's just that I'm listing some rugby programmes on ebay. I purchased them from a Wigan fan who had the job of clearing out Central Park when they left for the JJB / DW stadium. The collection is every semi final & final from the late 60's to the early 90's . All international & tour matches.World club challenge & Warrington v Wigan in America.

I have his autograph from 1979 and it doesn't look similar. It's signed 'Parry Gordon' and the 'G' is of a different style.

The top is deninately not real. I got his autograph loads of times when I was a kid that is not his writing.
I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.
