Explains the move for Smith then, especially with Collis out for another few weeks.

He can be out for 2 years for me ! He's been poor at best this season. If Lee Smith is the replacement then happy days.

No loss. Should've been out of the side anyway with his lack of form.

detached retina is a very nasty injury and would I think be a very difficult injury to recover from, especialy if you want to take part in a contact sport. With this in mind I wish the lad all the very best for a good recovery.

Nasty injury, hope he can fully recover. I think Frank Bruno was retired due to a detached retina, also Sugar Ray but he managed to compete again.

Bruno had a detached retina repaired when he was 30 so he must have fought on a bit after that. He also had an operation in Colombia :? , when he was 18 to correct his short sightedness. So it's not neccessairily curtains for Mellors' career.

Sorry to hear about his injury but having him out of the side is good news as he's been consistently poor.
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Dear Richard
I humbly apologise for jumping on the Hull FC orchestrated bandwagon.

Did you not say that when Mellors replaced Murphy ?
Lets start a forum just for Wakey fans, we can all back slap each other and not have anyone to tell us any different, i want to be the club puppy and make myself look stupid time and time again.
