It was almost like watching two different sports- my son compared it watching a non league football match then going home and watching Barca v Real Madrid

Re England, it porves we have no back up fromour first 17 and McNamara is not the man to take England forward

Poles apart
"Fletcher: Good morning Mr Mackay, Mr Beal.
Mr MacKay: How'd you know my name?
Fletcher: Oh word gets around sir, doesn't take long. I bet you're already a legend on some bog walls.

A bit to much "work" around the head in the SOO I thought. A lot was overlooked by the officials to create the spectacle.

Yeah but what a spectacle! I thought it was pretty well reffed. They're all big boys, for an Origin 3 decider you let them get on with it.

In the words of Ray Warren, "This is Origin, Let the boys play!"

The two match "Series" against the Exiles has been shown up for the farce it is. I thought the idea was to give England a chance to work together in camp and play in two (hopefully moving to three) intense rep matches. What happened? After winning Game 1 the team was completely dismantled to "see what the fringe players can do". Is that not the reason the Knights exist?
Origin is such great preparation for Test football because every game is intense for 80 minutes. Even if a State were 2-0 up with 1 to play they wouldn't "see what the fringe players can do"!
If you want intensity, pick your best team every time. That goes for the Exiles too. If not, play France and Wales and be done with it.

 Well said!

I think the idea of the Exiles is a good one but if Macnamara isn't going to pick his strongest side then it really isn't worth bothering with it! I thought this would provide 2 good quality oppositions for a full strength England as we head towards RLWC 2013, and the hope of a good performance and dare I say it a home win - Looks like after a promising start last year the Exiles games will turn out to be a missed opportunity!
Well f**k my hat, I didn't know that!

Come all without, come all within, we're London Broncos not the H********s!
