could it be bout ben galea?

Apologies.

I've just heard Rover's won't be offering him a new contract. Its overshadowed the Rhys news IMO.

This is a real double-edged sword. Gutted that Galea will be going, although given his <50% availability this season, I can understand the club's rationale. I truly hope he gets the send off he has earned, a brilliant signing for Rovers who has never been anything less than 100% professional in his Rovers career.

On the flipside, great news over the Lovegrove retention - another who was "nailed on" to cross the river. Just need Taylor sorting now.

You've got Hodgson, Cox, Lovegrove, Mika and your new signing.

Why would you keep Galea?

He's played really well this season and would still do a good job next year.

I don't see Hodgson's long term position as 2nd row, Cox still hasn't proved if he's gonna be good enough, Lovegrove is a prop. Other than that, I agree (sort of!).

The try Galea scored at Huddersfield is one that no-one else at the club could have, they need to learn from him how to run that type of line.

I'm not saying he hasn't but would you prefer to keep him for a year or sign Paterson for 2?

I think we have room for both. Even with Mika.
