Westerman will probably be down at the Loft with McGoldrick

And Rangi Chase :DRUNK:

Goldy will give 110% but as a back rower??? Not the best tackler and not a power runner. If he's asked to tackle that much there will be plenty of penalties. In the half back role he'll throw an interception a game. Best position I'd say was FB. Could have been a good centre but never really got game time there.

How can people question Gentle's judgement? Not 1 of his signings have let us down so far. Even though McGoldrick isn't a brilliant player & a bit of a tit I'm pretty sure Gentle knows more about the game & the payers then any of us on here so if he's happy to sign him thats fine as far as I'm concerned. I certainly won't be losing any sleep of the signing or getting angry or anything like that.

I don't think he is a utility player, he's always tries his best in any postilion he plays but he's by far a better back rower.

I think he will play there next year.

If this is true, then this is not the type of signing we need to take this club forward the bloke is cack a penalty machine & is no better than players who have been released.

Thought I might be more philosophical about this in the morning. Turns out I still think its the worst signing on our history. Yes we are obviously signing better players and they can't all be top quality but that doesn't mean we should sign complete garbage, I'd rather give a young kid the game time.

Me too Robbo.

I hope Bomber fooks off at the end of the season, after we've scraped into tne eight and been knocked out in the first play-off game.

Why is Bomber to blame for this signing? This is clearly a Gentle/Hay recruit as the both now him well.

Usually leave it 'til the close season to speculate on Whiting's game time for next season don't we ? Whiting is a much better all round player than Westerman in my opinion and I'd pick him ahead of Westerman at loose forward every day of the week.

Not blaming him for the signing, he didn't need appointing in the first place.

I agree totally. negatives: a bit of a penalty giver, bad attitude, positives: aggresive, hard to handle on his day, bad loser.
A bit of the old Gentle coaching should shape him up, wait and see is what I say.
