I've been a bit busy of late, so I might have missed it, but has Sal Paradise been back yet to explain what happened when he reported his drug-peddling, benefit-scrounging relative to the relevant authorities?
I didn't report him - the police arrested him!! seems he didn't heed the warning of his suspended sentance a year ago and continued to grow his herbal remedy for his bad back well beyond his own personal consumptional needs, back in court July.
In the mean time he has had to pay back £10k of his reported £130k gain - previous confiscation was 40k of herbal plants and 10k in cash. All public record see Bradford Telegraph & Argus.
Not bad for someone claiming disability benefit!!

I don't understand, are we saying that claiming disability benefit turns you into a drug dealer?

Whats him being on "disability benefit" (there is no such thing by the way) got to do with him being a drug dealer? Why the big deal that he is on "disability", dealing?
Would you say "not bad for someone claiming working tax credit"????

So in your "real world", because your family produces a bad egg, anyone on benefit is obviously a scrounging crook, eh?
Incidentally, according to this post, your relative did have a disability. You have no disputed that he had "a bad back". Now, assuming that, like absolutely anyone else on disability benefit, he'd had to have a medical, are you now saying that you know more than a medical doctor, and he didn't really have "a bad back" at all?
To be honest, it's hilarious when people like you go on about 'the politics of envy'. You're the envious ones. You have delusions of being ripped off by millions of undeserving people – if only they could all be made to go and do the jobs that don't exist, you'd be so much better off yourself.
It's illogical, based on a mythology that you are oh-so-willing to lap up, bitter and just downright nasty.

He has such a disability that he is able to plant, harvest, sell the drugs!!
I am not envious - my income funds my lifestyle very adequately. What is wrong is at a time when we have limited funds and worthy causes are having their funding cut you are still prepared to defend scrotes like this!!
Something is seriously wrong when a man can make >100k in illegal earnings and not pay tax on that money and still get funding from the state - I am not surprised you can't see that. I have always thought you resented those with real money - its those real red roots of yours from your time at the lefty chip paper producer.
According to you all those on disability should be claiming - again I always thought your political rhetoric stopped you seeing the wood for the trees.

Presumably the state was unaware of his ill-gotten gains and how he procured them until he was caught?
What is wrong in society is that family members can see unlawful activity happening, are willing to simply sit back until the matter comes to the attention of the relevant state authorities and then blame the state for not doing anything.
