Cas won't sack him. They know that they'll still be able to get a decent fee (although probably lower now after this incident) for him.

You would think that a professional Rugby League player with a burning desire to play for his 'Country' would act responsibly the week before an England game wouldnt you?!

Also with an English partner and child, and i quote "this is home now for me!"

you would think he would keep his nose clean with the law/visas etc.

But hey ho, some people are just d!ckheads arnt they.

whats he on roughly a year?! ££££ wise??!!

the guys a waster, send him back to NZ.

To clear up the facts.

Castleford Tigers have a 72 hour drinking ban, No player is allowed to be out within 72 hours of a game.

Rangi Chase was out in Xscape, Plastered the friday before the Leeds Rhino's game. This is not in doubt, Lets face it, The place is full of our fans, And my brother saw him in a less than sober state.

He was out with Joe Westerman who apparently left early. And played the Sunday

Rangi Chase was dropped for a breach of the club rules.

Rangi Chase was then suspended pending investigation into just how serious the breach was, The rumours about police involvement, And obviously everyone by now knows the rumour going round. Its very strong, And is been backed up by many people who were there.

Will Rangi Chase be at Cas next season ? Yes, Unless we sack him if the investigation is negative. Which is a possibilty.

I cannot see us selling him on the cheap, And can't see anyone paying big money.

Am i the only person that does not know this rumour? Will someone PM me? I feel all left out!

Does anybody else see a coincidental element to all this?

Rumours started about Chase signing for wigan, then Chase himself said he'd like to sign for wigan, then Cas said Chase would be staying put, then Chase breaches club disciplin and gets suspended...is he trying to facilitate a move away from cas???

That depends on which rumour is true.

If it's rumour 1 possibly.

If it's rumour 2 (and this seems to be the favourite) no.
