Wigan have stood by players who have done similar indiscretions to Chase, but they were already in our structure. I think it is no coincidence our interest in him cooled when the extent of his issues started to be banded about by those in the know behind the scenes.

I wouldn't pay that asking price, but I think he would be a smart addition if the price was lower. He may have attitude problems but I for one think he would go well for us.
