You can send the RFL a email of who you think should get a statue at Wembley out of the remaining contenders....

Billy Boston
Eric Ashton
Alex Murphy
Martin Offiah
Gus Risman
or a group representation (which could end up being a artist 'impression'

My votes with Murph 8)

Am I missing something here?
How the hell is Offiah on that list, beggars belief.
How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?

NO !!! He was probably one of the fastest but that's were it ends.
He played with 2 teams who dominated the game at the time - makes a wingers life very easy. Remember Sean Day at Saints. He scored a panful outside Meninga but as soon as Meninga left he was never heard of again.

Only one option - King Alex

Offiah should not be on that list at all. I can't believe the greatest player of all time - Ellery Hanley - is not on there. I would have a trio of Boston, Murphy and Hanley.

So let me get this right your saying Offiah wasn't a great he was just fast? Haha the fact that he was so fast made him a great players were terrified of him including the Aussies so in my book that makes him worthy even tho I cannot stand the guy.

Aussies terrified of Offiah ? I doubt many would admit to that. Now maybe if you mention Karalius or Mick Martyn.
Offiah had speed only - one plus point doesn't make a great player - a good winger maybe but not an all time great above so many others we all could name.

I think the iconic image of Offiah with his head in his hands after scoring against Leeds will be the statue. Very iconic image.
