I dont think any of us are happy with how Mick potter left. However we are where we are.

Therefore for the club to survive we need a coach. For me I would rather that coach to be someone we know and can trust/support.

Whether Brian Noble is linked to CC is irrelevant at the moment.

I would therefore support Brian Noble being appointed.

Well it has to be someone without a coaching job and willing to work voluntarily for a bit. That narrows the field as well.

The two coaches left at the club (currently) are the ones junior to Stu Barrow & Medders and cover the scholarship lads at the moment. A bit of a step up for them to coach first team.

When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train

i would hope no one would be averse to Noble coming back.he is bradford through and through and gave his all as player and coach.none of the goings on are his fault even though he may be friends with those that are. if he does return i have no doubt he would give all his effort once again in the cause of bradford rugby.

It was never evident to me that Brian was anything other than his own man, certainly not anybody's tool, and certainly not Caisley's as can be seen from history.
If the administrators decide that we are to continue playing matches then a coach is needed.
There are few quality coaches either available or I expect willing to do a temporary job, with or without pay.

IMO If we could secure Brian in this role then we would be fortunate to say the least.
Potter has gone and that's a fact. Sad but inevitable due to our dire financial circumstances, he may well have been one of our highest earners.

We have to move forward, otherwise we die

If potter isn't coaching, then I'd welcome noble. For once in this mess I believe whats written there.

I believe Noble to be an honourable man, and he is Bradford to the core, and a legend to boot. He is also a friend of Mick Potter.

If he says he was asked, and agreed, on Monday only after the sackings, then I believe him.

Given that Potter has gone and we have a team and no coach, Nobby volunteering his services is a gesture I would expect from him. He did not sack Potter and him not agreeing to help out will do nothing whatsoever for Potter (with whom I have every sympathy). Nobby cites the vitriolic reaction he has faced since the news came out as what is making him reconsider. What do these sort of people want? A team running on the pitch with absolutely no coaching staff of any sort? How is that fair on the players, who they presumably expect to perform despite the sackings?

I would urge Nobby to think again, those spewing the vitriol are surely a tiny minority, I believe he would be applauded to the rafters if he took the decision to step into the breach.

Fans should not forget that Potter was asked if he would stay in the role for no pay, and he (very understandably) refused. Nobody should criticise Nobby for agreeing to do what Mick Potter didn't feel able to do. Coaching for nothing is hardly a great job offer and it was a hateful dilemma for him to be placed in, but one thing is sure - it is in no way Nobby's fault that Potter refused, and he shouldn't be blamed for it. If Potter had said yes then Nobby would not have been asked.

I agree 100%. No one is happy with what's gone on, esp regards potter but from where we are today, with a game on sun we have little options and noble would have my complete support if he's helping us out for free.
